Dr. João Gaspar

He earned his dental degree from Egas Moniz University in Portugal in 2012. Since then, Dr. Gaspar has been engaged in clinical research in implant dentistry in the same University, where he is a member of the Implantology Department.

In 2013, he continued his training in implant dentistry at Columbia University in New York, and attended the Master Course in Prevention and Management of Esthetic Implant Failures at the University of Bern, and the Advanced Bone Grafting Course – Sinus Lift Procedures at Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest. Dr. Gaspar has always been interested in the effects of osteotomy preparation in bone tissue. His Master’s thesis was about the histological alterations of implant site preparation.

He is author and co-author of several publications and lectures nationally and internationally on surgical implantology procedures and oral rehabilitation. Dr. Gaspar is currently a PhD student at Egas Moniz University.
